Hundreds of bikers have turned out to mark the “final ride” of a Gosport man killed in tragic collision.
His funeral was held this afternoon in Gosport.
Daniel Stone also known as Daniel Son, was killed on 11th March this year while on his way to work. The keen biker, from Mumby Road Gosport had a passion for bikes. A convoy of motorbikes followed the hearse to church than followed and accompanied his funeral cortege to Ann Hill cemetery.
The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Green, Gosport
Mr Phil Stone invited fellow bikers to join him on as he took his son on his last journey from their home in Mumby Road to the crematorium.Bikers responded from across the country who wanted to pay their respects.Shortly after his death, a statement from his family said: Dan was a much-loved, son, brother and friend.
“He had a huge enthusiasm for life and will be remembered for his kind and friendly nature.”
A family obituary said: “Always happy and smiling, Daniel loved everyone.
“He always lived life to the full”
