Fire Crews Battle Fire with Gas Cylinders in Romsey.


Ten Firefighters tackled a blaze involving three cars and apropane gas cylinder that broke out on a Farm in Sherfield English near Romsey last night.

Fire crews from Romsey and Eastleigh were called out to the blaze at Sand Hill Farm just after 10.00pm Thursday Evening.

A water carrier from Eastleigh was sent to assist the attending fire crews after the discovery of a 47kg LPG cylinder.

The fire alson involved a shipping container and three vehicle.
Crews managed to bring the fire under control with the hour.
