M3 Motorway closed following Crash Near Hook

M3 Westbound between Junction 4A and Junction 5 near Hook and Minley has been closed by Police following a collision this evening. Police tape has also been put across the Motorway Service link bridge between East and Westbound Service areas.
The westbound service area on the M3 has also been closed to the public A number of Hampshire Road Policing vehicles can bee seen at the scene along with crash scene investigators who have been examining a Silver Coloured Sports hatchback car with front End and windscreen damage.

Police have advised that the all three lanes of the Westbound carriage have been closed whilst the incident is being dealt with.
A Diversion has been set up following the M3 Closure J4a-J5. Drivers are advised to follow the solid black triangle Symbols :Diversion is via A327 Northbound, to A30 West Bound and B3349 Southbound, to leave M3 at Junction 4a + Return at Junction 5.

The Road is not expected to reopen until at least 4.30 on Friday morning
