Police given more time to Question Man Following Southampton Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Michael Freshwater in Southampton on Friday, April 29 have been granted an extension to question a 26-year-old man.

The 26-year-old from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (Saturday, April 30).

The extension will expire tomorrow evening (Monday, May 2).

A 35-year-old man from Southampton who was also arrested has been released without charge.
