Police have this morning released further details into the tragic deaths in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Detectives investigating the deaths of two people in East Cowes are now in a position to confirm the results of post mortem examinations carried out yesterday.
The post mortem examination of Darren Flux-Edmonds, 44, found death as previously reported was by ligature suspension.
His death is not being treated as suspicious by detectives.
The result of the post mortem examination of his six-year-old daughter Keziah Flux-Edmonds was undetermined and further tests will be carried out.
Detectives are treating her death as murder and are continuing with their investigations on behalf of the coroner.
Detective Inspector Simon Baker said: “We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and our specialist officers are continuing to support family members.”
