Police need your help after a Man was punched and robbed in Portmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 30-year-old man was robbed in Greetham Street, Portsmouth, on Friday (July 8).

The victim was approaching the ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ footbridge at around 8pm when he was grabbed from behind by a man, who threatened him with a pen-knife.

Another man and a woman with a dog assisted the suspect; they are alleged to have held the victim and punched him.

The man had a navy-blue, knee-length coat from River Island stolen, which contained £83, keys, two rings and a Nokia phone.
