Woman Arrested after Double Stabbing in Romsey

Police were called to a report of a stabbing in Withers Road, Romsey, at about 11.05pm on Sunday, July 24.

Two 45-year-old women were taken to Southampton General Hospital by South Central ambulance, with stab wounds.

One of the 45-year-old women has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder; she remains in hospital under police guard.

The other woman remains in hospital. The injuries to both women are not thought to be life-threatening.

Two houses in Withers Road, Romsey on the Taylor Wimpey with Police standing guard. Scene of Crime officers have also been at the property and left with a large amount of brown paper bags from one of the properties
