A person has been taken to hospital after their black Fiat 500 hit the kerb and rolled onto its side in Gosport this evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 10pm this evening (Wednesday) South Central Ambulance Service sent two ambulances a rapid response paramedic and a HART team to the scene as it was first reported that the driver was trpped. Hampshire Fire and Rescue service sent two appliances one from Gosport and Fareham and a specialist rescue support unit (RSU) was also sent from Cosham. Police closed off Nobes Avenue with the junction of Brewers Lane whilst fire crews from made the vehicle safe and lifted the car back on to it's wheels.
The driver is not thought to be seriously injured.
Resident living in the road have called for action by the Police as many people use the road as a race track. Mandy Harding said: " This one may have been a genuine accident I live in Nobes and it's getting worse. People use it as a race track and at night when it's not the cars it's the moped. Someone will be killed or seriously injured one day.
