Police are appealing for information after an incident of criminal damage at a church near Basingstoke.

Sometime between 11pm on Thursday, September 29 and 6pm on Friday, September 30, a stained glass window at St Leonard’s Church, in Rectory Road, Oakley was damaged.

A stone was found inside the church, and we believe the stone was thrown through the stained glass window.

PCSO Andy Jones said: “This is an isolated incident but we are keen to hear from anyone who heard the sound of breaking glass or saw anything suspicious in that area on that night.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 or crimestoppers
