Hamleys Toy Shop London on Lock Down after suspect Package Found

One of London’s busiest shopping streets has been placed on lockdown after a suspect package was found in iconic toy shop Hamleys.

Police cordoned off a large part of Regent Street in the West End as they dealt with the security scare.

Shoppers were told to leave the world famous toy shop Hamleys at about 3pm, the Met Police have confirmed that officers asked people to leave and have called in specialist EOD officers and are seeking further advice

The Police also confirmed officers had been called to reports of a suspicious package in the store.
