Dorset Police Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find a woman who has gone missing from Bournemouth.
Gillian Greenwood, 59, left her address in Wellington Road sometime between 2pm and 3pm on Friday 17 March 2017 stating she was going to the hairdressers. The last confirmed sighting of her was outside Creams on Charminster Road at around 3.30pm the same day. She has not been seen since.
Gillian requires medication for an existing condition and officers are now becoming increasingly concerned for her as she did not take the medication with her.
She is described as white, five feet two inches tall, with long black hair. She was wearing dark-coloured jeans, a black jacket and was carrying a large brown handbag.
She did not take her mobile phone with her.
Inspector Anna Harvey, of Dorset Police, said: “Officers are currently searching the Bournemouth area for Gillian.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Gillian or a woman matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police urgently.
“Finally, if Gillian sees this appeal I would ask her to please make contact with us – we are worried about you and just want to make sure you are safe.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Gillian’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 101, quoting incident number 17:513.
