Armed officers seen at Gunwharf shopping centre this morning.
Hampshire Constabulary has put armed and unarmed patrols at “key locations” following the raising of the national terrorist threat to critical.
In a statement, the force did not mention specific locations but said it was focused on “crowded places, including transport hubs and shopping centres.”
