Police Appeal for witnesses to serious collision in Worthing

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving a motorcyclist and a car in South Farm Road, Worthing.

The collision happened at 1.21pm on Tuesday (8 August) and involved a green Kawaski motorbike and a black BMW car.

The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man from Worthing, suffered serious chest and leg injuries and is currently in a critical condition in the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

The BMW driver, a woman aged 67 also from Worthing, was uninjured. The road was closed for investigation and recovery work until 4.45pm.
