Road Closure Please be aware two lanes of the northbound carriageway of the A36, from Junction 2 of the M27, has been closed due to a HGV overturning. Lane 2 of the southbound carriageway is also closed as a result after a lorry overturned in the early hours.
Traffic is unable to access the link road to the A36 from the M27.

Emergency services are at the scene and a recovery operation and clean up has started.

The northbound lanes of the A36 have been closed due to the crash and only one lane of the southbound carriageway is open.
The overturned HGV crashed through the barriers leaving them seriously damaged. These will need replacing.

The incident happened near Ower just off junction 2 of the M27.
