Kind hearted people who viewed appeal after the   sickening  theft by a scumbag couple from Gosport have replaced the stolen cash within three hours of the appeal being launched. The wicked theft took place on Monday afternoon (December 17) after the pensioner had withdrew funds from the HBSC in Gosport.

The couple who police have released CCTV images on stole the money from the former serviceman as he walked away from the bank to go and pay Christmas bill and buy present for his family. Many have taken to social media expressing their disgust and vowing to have the cash replaced.

A go fund me page was set up by Kerry Snuggs from Titchfield and the total was reach by 109 kind people donating cash to the appeal. Speaking from her Titchfield home this evening she said “Acts of Kindness aims to help those in need. The appeal went out to replace the gents funds at 7pm and by 21:30 hours the money was raised. The Christmas Spirit shown by the community has been absolutely incredible. The gent will be told about the money raised tomorrow by the Officer in the case and I will be present whilst they do this. (The money will be given via bank transfer). Anything over the target raised will be donated to the gents nominated charity. Co-Op In Rowner  have also put together a hamper for  the gent.
