A car has been completely destroyed in what is believed to be an accidental fire.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service received a number of emergency calls last night at just before midnight on Sunday,to reports that a car was ablaze on Mill Lane,Horndean,near the junction of B2177.
A crew was mobilized from Horndean to the scene. On arrival they found the car to be well alight.
Firefighters battled the blaze for over half an hour, using two hose reel jets, before the fire was extinguished. However the car was completely destroyed by the blaze. No one is believed to have been hurt following the incident
