Thousands of Olly Murs fans are set to be disappointed after news that his gigs at Kings Park, Bournemouth and Powderham Castle, Exeter will no longer be going ahead.
Fans had scrambled to get tickets to see the former X Factor star, and demand was so high that just a few weeks ago an extra two thousand tickets were released for the Bournemouth concert to meet the demand.
The gig in Bournemouth was due to take place on 5th August and the Exeter gig was due to take place 29th July, with Louisa Johnson also due to perform.
It was announced today that Stephen C Associates Ltd, the event’s organiser have gone out of business. This means that thousands of fans will miss out on seeing Olly Murs perform, and will also be unable to receive a refund on their tickets.
Stephen C Associates Ltd, based in Dorset, are an events management company responsible for hosting a number of high profile local concerts. Attempts to contact the company for comment have been unsuccessful, and their ‘Olly in the Park’ website which featured ticket information and concert news is currently ‘down for maintenance.’
Ticket prices for the events started at £39.50. Fans are advised to contact the ticket agency that they purchased their tickets through, and VIP ticket holders who made their purchase via credit cards are advised to speak to their credit card company.
