Detectives investigating the suspected dissemination of terrorist material have arrested a 17-year-old male from east London this morning, Wednesday, 25 October.
Officers arrested the teenager on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist material at approximately 07.20hrs.
He has been detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) and is currently in custody at a south-London police station.
This morning’s arrest follows the arrest of a 43-year-old man on Wednesday, 11 October at an address in east London. The man, also detained under PACE, was arrested on suspicion of dissemination of terrorist material and bailed to return to a police station in early November.
