Major Search Launched after Missing Chiswick Woman Car Found at Beachy Head

A major search operation is taking place off Beachy Head this evening after is is understood that missing Suzannah Brown, 28 from Chiswick car has been found over the cliffs at the notorious suicide spot in East Sussex

A huge search and rescue operation, is being carried out by the police, the RNLI and Three coastguard rescue teams. The search operation was launched just before midnight on Wednesday night following the discovery of the missing woman’s vehicle. Search Volunteers are being hampered by thick fog.

A UK Coastguard spokesman confirm that a search operation was being carried out at the request of Sussex Police. The spokesman said that two lifeboats an all weather lifeboat and an inshore lifeboat from Eastbourne had been launched along with three search teams from Eastbourne, Birling Gap and Newhaven to assist with the on going search.
Suzannah was reported missing by Hounslow Police and her car was found tonight at Beachy Head in East Sussex.
At the start of the year she started a new job as Senior Account Manager looking after Consumer Brands at Grayling, whose clients include Hilton hotels.
Miss Brown studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton, which is just 20 miles west of where Sussex Police officers discovered her car.
