Posh Estate in Surrey on Lockdown after Man has Head Caved in and left for Dead

Police are appealing for information after a critically injured man was found in Epsom early this morning (Saturday 25 November).

A member of the public found a 36-year-old man lying in the middle of Miller Place, off Sherwood Way, Epsom shortly after 5 am this morning.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance and remains in a critical condition. His family have been informed.


The road has been cordoned off while an investigation continues.
A police source said that there is never any trouble up on this east its a really nice place to live and we hardly ever get called up here.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward.

Superintendent Kerry Haddleton, who is leading the investigation, said:
“We are considering a number of different hypotheses as to how this man came to lying in the street so badly injured – and it is likely that there are people out there who have information that could help our enquiry.

”If you were around the area of Sherwood Way or Horton Lane in Epsom between midnight and 5:30am this morning, and saw or heard anything that may help our investigation, I want to hear from you – call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference 45170131251.
