Thames Valley Police officers remain in Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, following a fatal air accident on Friday
With support from the force, the Air Accident Investigation Branch is continuing work on the investigation which involved a helicopter and light aircraft.
Four men died at the scene.
Officers will work closely with military support today Sunday 19th November 2017) with the aim of removing the aircraft from the woodland in Upper Winchendon. The bodies of all of the victims have now been recovered from the scene. These left just after 8pm on Saturday evening.
The Post-Mortem examination process in relation to the victims is due to begin today and is expected to last several days. Identities of the deceased will not be released prior to formal identification taking place.
Superintendent Rebecca Mears, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the men who have tragically lost their lives. Specially-trained family liaison officers are continuing to offer their support to the families of the victims affected, three of whom we understand to be British nationals, one of whom is a Vietnamese national.
“Work will today focus on removing the aircraft from the scene which will be done with specialist support. I would like to reiterate my thanks to the local community for their understanding while the investigation is ongoing in the area.”
