A 16-year-old schoolboy has been charged with murder following the death of a baby on a Southampton council estate.
Emergency services were called to an address in Defender Road, in Woolston, on Sunday.
A six-week-old baby was rushed to Southampton General Hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead.
The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear before Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
