Emergency service still remain and the road remains sealed off following an incident involving all three Island emergency Services in the early hours of Saturday Morning. A Police cordon has been place on Nelson Drive and forensic investigator has arrived at the scene in Cowes this morning, where both Police and the fire service remain.
One resident who asked not to be named said that they woke up to a number of emergency personnel in the street and road was cordoned off.
It is understood that the isle of wight fire and rescue service were called to assist police in gaining access to a property on Nelson drive following a concern for welfare. A fire source confirmed it was a police led incident.
