Police were called shortly after 4am on Sunday, 20 May to a south London hospital after a 21-year-old man self-presented suffering from a stab injury. He has since been discharged.

Detective Constable Chris Dimmer, said: “Although this assault happened in the early hours of the morning, it took place in a busy area of Croydon town centre.
“I’m sure there would have been other people in the area, who may have either seen the assault, or a large group hanging around.
“I would also like to appeal to any motorists, including cab drivers, with dash cam footage who were driving close to the High Street to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Croydon CID via 101 quoting reference 1338/20 May.
