The Yarmouth lifeboat and the Needles Coastguard have been called to assist a stricken Yacht that has got into the difficulty off the Isle of Wight this afternoon.
The lifeboat and the Coastguard rescue team were scrambled just before 3pm on Saturday afternoon (15th June) to Colwell Bay.
On route to the incident, the lifeboat stopped to assist a second yacht that had lost its mast.
This was passed to Lymington lifeboat who have also launched to give assistance to the second vessel in trouble out on the water.
