A suspected drug dealer was arrested on Sunday, November 24, 2024, after Kent Police patrols intercepted a vehicle in Ramsgate. Officers recovered drugs believed to be cocaine and crack cocaine, along with other items linked to illegal activity.
Suspicious Activity in Plains of Waterloo
Police were initially alerted to two men acting suspiciously in the Plains of Waterloo area around 9 a.m. One of the men left on foot, while the other drove away in a car. Officers followed the vehicle for a short distance before stopping it on Grange Road.
Items Seized
Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered:
Three wraps suspected to contain cocaine and crack cocaine
Two mobile phones
A sum of cash
A locking knife
The driver, a 40-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of a bladed article.
Ongoing Investigation
The suspect has been released on bail as further inquiries are conducted. Police are working to confirm the nature of the substances seized and gather additional evidence related to the case.
