A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in West Wickham on Wednesday afternoon.
Teen Stabbed Near High Street
The attack happened on Ravenswood Avenue at 4.30pm on November 26. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after reports of the stabbing.
Injuries Not Life-Threatening
The Metropolitan Police confirmed two days later that the boy’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. He was treated by the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
No Arrests Yet as Investigation Continues
Officers have launched an investigation but so far, no suspects have been arrested. A police cordon was seen near Station Road soon after the incident.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, 26 November at 16:32hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing on Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 17-year-old boy before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
