Agnieszka Kalinowski and her partner Andrzej Latoszewski deny murdering Sebastian Kalinowski in August 2021.
A clip taken two weeks before the teen’s death of Mr Latoszewski repeatedly hitting him at their Huddersfield home was shown in Leeds Crown Court.
Mr. Latoszewski has confessed to manslaughter.
Sebastian is grabbed by the shirt and pulled around the family’s living room in the video, which is dated July 30, 2021.
Mr Latoszewski then holds his arms while repeatedly kneeing the boy in the chest and stomach.
Mr Latoszewski briefly stops hitting Sebastian to wipe sweat from his face and arms with a towel before resuming his attacks.
Sebastian can be seen heavily breathing in the corner of the room while Mr Latoszewski strokes a cat and Ms Kalinowska eats toast while watching television.
Prosecutor Jason Pitter QC previously told the court that the couple installed cameras in their home to “monitor and exert control over Sebastian remotely.”
The cameras captured Sebastian’s final moments during the school holidays, according to the prosecution, who added that he spent much of the day in his room, staring at a wall, and was only allowed to leave to do chores, eat, or exercise.
On the following two days, video showed Sebastian being hit by both his mother and Mr Latoszewski while performing push-ups or sit-ups.
The prosecution told the jury that Mr Latoszewski’s phone was used late at night to search for information on how to realign a broken thumb.
Sebastian is seen being whipped with an extension cable in later footage, according to Mr Pitter.
On August 13, Sebastian was discovered unconscious in the bath and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
According to the prosecution, he died as a result of untreated rib fractures.
The trial is still ongoing.
