Kent Police was called to Skinner Street at around 7.30am on Tuesday 15 March 2022 following a report that a woman had been seen stealing items from inside a parked van. Officers attended the area immediately and arrested a suspect.
A bag of tools was found during the search of a nearby property and identified as those belonging to the victim.
Stephanie Hall, 42, of no fixed address, was taken into custody and charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
Ms Hall has since been released on bail and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 April 2022.
