Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a reported assault inside a Bournemouth nightclub.

At 1.32am on Sunday 27 February 2022 an altercation occurred between two men in Vinyl club on Fir Vale Road.
It is alleged a 20-year-old man from Sunbury on Thames was assaulted and fell to the floor. He sustained a serious head injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is described as potentially life-threatening.
A 23-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This incident took place near to the back of the nightclub and I know there were many people inside the venue who may have seen what happened and could assist our investigation. I would urge anyone who did witness the incident to please contact Dorset Police.
“I would also ask that anyone who may have captured all or part of the incident on a mobile phone to please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220032749.
