Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Richmond have named the victim as 31-year-old Mirko Naramcic from Twickenham and have made a number of arrests

Police were called at around 11.20pm on Thursday, 17 March, to reports of a stabbing in the area of Maguire Drive, Richmond. No victims were found at the scene but shortly afterwards three men, including Mirko, attended hospital having sustained what are believed to be stab injuries.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, Mirko died in hospital. His next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination took place at Kingston Mortuary on Saturday, 19 March and gave the cause of death as a stab injury.
One man, aged 18, was arrested on Monday, 21 March on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
Four other people were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and have since been released on bail. They are two females, aged 17 and aged 52, and two men, aged 19 and aged 20.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan, who is leading the investigation, said: “We have made significant progress with our investigation but we believe there are other witnesses to the incident who have still not spoken to us.
“I would urge anyone who has any information, no matter how small, to contact my team or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
“Mirko’s family are understandably heartbroken at their loss and we are using all of the resources at our disposal to get them the answers they need.”
Anyone with information should contact 0208 785 8099 or 101 with CAD 8004/17MAR.
