Fareham,Hampshire Wednesday 15th June 2016 Clark Merchant of Burham Walk, Gosport has appeared before Fareham Magistrates Court this morning facing a number of charges involving the possessing indecent images of children. Dressed in a pencil grey suit supported by his mother the 33 year old former Yellow Dot Nursery Worker who now lists him occupant as working for Hampshire County Council offered no plea at the short hearing.

The magistrate declined to hear the case due to the serious nature and the case has been sent for trial at the crown court. Merchant faces a six charges of possession of 36 indecent images of children and possession of a moving video again of chat of that have been found on a PC computer tower and a laptop on the 13th November last year. The case has been sent to Portsmouth Court where he will appear on 18th July 2016. Merchant was released on conditional bail
