Six Fire appliances from around the county have been called in this afternoon to tackle a fire on the Browndown Army Range in Gosport.
Around forty firefighters were called to tackle the blaze which was around 5 acres just after 5pm on Sunday.
Fire crews from Gosport, Fareham, and Eastleigh supported by two water carriers and two Landrovers from Fareham and Eastleigh fire stations helped to fight the fire and stop it from spreading.

Flames damaged a large area of the woodland, which is a popular spot for walkers.
Firefighters spent more than two hours getting the flames under control and stopping the blaze from spreading using a water relay system and high pressure hose reels on the back of Landrovers.

Police and Arson Task Forces Specialists are looking into the fact that a large group of youths were in the area moments earlier.
