Murder investigation launched after fatal Wandsworth stabbing

Murder investigation launched after  fatal Wandsworth stabbing

 

The London Ambulance Service called police at 1.15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27 to reports of a man in his 40s suffering serious injuries at an address on Trinity Crescent, SW17.

 

Officers and London’s Air Ambulance responded, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Work is being done to notify all next of kin.

 

A man and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and are both still in custody.

 

A crime scene still exists.

 

Specialist Crime homicide detectives are looking into the case.

 

At this early stage, anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC with the CAD reference 349/27Jul in the subject line.

 

Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and provide information anonymously.
