Person hurt after falling from mobility scooter on the Isle of Wight

Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident near to Broadlea school near Lake on the Isle of Wight.

Police and paramedics from Isle of Wight ambulance service are dealing with the person who is understood to have been thrown from the scooter whilst using the Zebra crossing near the school. The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said that they where called just after 9.30am on Thursday morning.

Traffic is reported to be backing up in both directions whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
