Coastguard teams from Deal, Dover, Margate along with the RNLI Lifeboat from Walmer and officers from Kent Police have all been called to carry out a search following reports that a person was missing from a houseboat that is located on the River Stour
Kent Police were called just after 2.30pm on Sunday 20th March 2022 raising concerns for the missing person.
A large number of emergency service workers have now been called in to carry out a water and land search in and around the area for the missing person.
A Police Search Advisor (PolSA) has also been mobilised to the scene.
The search efforts and operation is being coordinated by the UK Coastguard operations centre at Dover
The incident is currently ongoing and Kent Police and the MCA have have been approached for comment
