Portsmouth fell silent this morning to remember the lives of those lost in war.

As part of Armistice Day there was be a two-minute silence held at 11am in the Guildhall square with a two gun salute marking the two minutes.
There was a special remembrance service at the Guildhall cenotaph beginning at 10.50am, with prayers being said.
