Second Man arrested for Attempted Murder after Woman Stabbed

Police investigating the attempted murder of a 35-year-old woman, who was stabbed in the back near London road, North End, Portsmouth at 3.20pm on Saturday (July 9), have arrested a second man.

A 42-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 41-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of conspire to murder.

They both remain in police custody.
