A Two vehicle collision has left six people needing hospital treatment and a major road closed this afternoon.
Police closed the A31 Petersfield Road near Alresford following the two vehicle smash.
The road has been left littered with debris.
Six People where treated at the scene by Paramedics before being taken to the Basingstoke and the Southampton General Hospitals.
Fire crews from the Winchester helped free a number people who where trapped using cutting equipment.
The road remained closed for nearly three hours whilst recovery and a clear up operation took place.
