Southampton Crack Dealer jailed for 32 Month by Judge

Ahmed Zelgay, aged 24, of Morris Road, Southampton was sentenced to 32 months in prison on Monday, April 18 at Southampton Crown Court for after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin.
After receiving reports from the local community of possible drug dealing, Zelgay was searched under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act on October 4 by neighbourhood officers at Sandhurst Road play park. He was found to be carrying 42 deals of crack and heroin.

Detective Constable Andy Spooner said: “Our message to criminals coming here to deal drugs is that you’re not welcome. If you suspect anyone of drug dealing in your area or see anyone acting suspiciously, report it via 101.”
