Tributes have been paid to a much-loved family man and father who died in a collision

A motorbike collided with a traffic island on Sherburn Road in Durham at 8.45 p.m. on Monday night (June 20).
The bike’s rider, 27-year-old Josh Smith, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Josh’s family has requested privacy as they mourn and come to terms with what occurred.
Following the incident, the road was closed for several hours to allow investigators to work at the scene.
Collision investigators want to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the bike just before the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Constabulary at 101, quoting incident number 436 from June 20.
