Hindhead Surrey Thursday 21st April 201 left at least two vehicles are left trapped under scaffolding.
There was a fear the scaffolding could collapse if the vehicles were moved.
Police, ambulance crews and a number of fire crews rushed to the accident on the A287 Hindhead Road.

Four vehicles were involved, including one HGV – and two cars hit each other head on careering into scaffolding.
A number of supporting beams on the scaffolding were completely bent out of position – appearing to leave only a few beams and the vehicle holding the weight of the frame.
Simon Hickey a First officer with Virgin Atlantic told us what he saw: “I was the third car behind the HGV, a car came around the corner, clipped the back of the lorry – and hit another car.
“The car in front of me reversed, I reversed. Then two cars went under the scaffolding and into the side of the building.”

We understand one person has been taken to hospital.
Simon said that what he did to help: “I jumped out, ran over – the driver of the Subaru, a chap in about his 70’s I think, he had his foot flat on the accelerator the front wheels were smoking.
“So I reached in and turned off the engine. He wasn’t injured or trapped but he was in a deep state of shock.
“I think he had some chest pains which I suspect were from the airbags.” @UKNIP
