Police are appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted whilst walking along Carlton Road towards James Weld Close between 1.30am and 1.45am on Saturday, Aug 27.
A man approached the woman in the alleyway off Carlton Road and sexually assaulted her over the top of her clothing.
The man is described as:
White
Between 25 and 29-years-old
6 feet tall
Slim build
Blond, spiky hair that flopped over to the right
Blond beard
Wearing a thin grey or blue t-shirt and blue jeans
Police have some information and are following up all lines of enquiry in relation to this assault but they say it is in the early stages of the investigation.
