A woman was verbally abusive and threatening towards a 19-year-old female member of staff shortly before midday on Wednesday, October 19.

The woman is described as white, 30-35 years old, about 5ft 10ins tall and of average build.

PC David Ronchetti from Cosham Police Station said:

“The persistent aggression shown was very distressing for the victim, who was able to remain calm and professional throughout. This appears to be a case of mistaken identity.

“This occurred in the middle of the day in a busy high street. I appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or can help identify the woman pictured, to contact me.”

Anyone with information about this incident should contact PC Ronchetti on 101, quoting 44160395295, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
