isle of wight families celebrate winning on postcode lottery in shanklin

A Six-figured cheque was presented to one lucky Islander after they scooped a share of an incredible £3 million pound prizes with their postcode.

PO30 1 was drawn as the winning Post Code in People’s Postcode Lottery’s February’s Postcode Millions draw.

Lucky players received their golden ticket last week were invited to the glitzy prize draw at Landguard Manor, Shanklin, this morning to find out how much they have each won.

Mum of Four Pat Willis 63 was one of the lucky winners who won £331,159 of the prize pot. Pat of Prospect Road, who has walked away with a life-changing amount of money. initially thought she had only won £14,197.

 

There where  115 other winners who shared the remainder of the £3 Million Pound Pot

Proceeds from the charity lottery have been donated to good causes in the UK and internationally including the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, which has received £525,000 and Missing People is one an other of 63 charities supported by players of the lottery

People’s Postcode Lottery is a charity lottery where players play with their postcodes to win cash prizes whilst raising money for charities. A minimum of 27.5% goes directly to good causes and players have raised over £104.2 Million for charities across Great Britain and internationally.

A People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador  X Factor finalist Danyl Johnson said:

“When our players realised how much they had won it was just amazing to see their reactions. I’vehad  a great day on the Isle of Wight and it’s a pleasure to meet the people who are helping to raise millions of pounds for so many great causes by playing People’s Postcode Lottery.”
