Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire on Eastwood Road in Ulcombe, near Maidstone

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and the property was well alight on arrival. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets, compressed air foam and water from a local hydrant to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported, and the cause has not yet been confirmed.
