Man charged in connection with St Leonards murder

A man has been charged in connection with a murder in St Leonards.

Police discovered the body of a man inside a property in Magdalen Road on Thursday (April 8). He has since been identified as 51-year-old Darren Alderton, from St Leonards.

Officers launched a murder investigation and arrested a man in North London on Monday evening (April 12) in connection with the death.

On Wednesday (April 14) Seyed Iman Tabarhosseini, 37, unemployed, of no fixed address, was charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court later in the day.
