Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Southampton this morning (February 2).
The incident happened just before 7am as a black 4X4 Toyota travelled along Cobden Avenue, close to the junction with Cobbett Road, in Bitterne.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and she was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Officers investigating the collision are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident to come forward.
They are particularly keen to speak to a man, who is described as wearing a chauffeurs uniform, who stopped at the scene following the collision, as he may have information that can assist with the investigation. They are asked to contact police on 101
