An underpass remains under Police guard in Woosehill near Wokingham after a teenager girl was attacked in the early hours on Saturday morning.
A sixteen-year-old who was found in Little Sandhurst a village nearly seven miles from the crime scene is being interviewed by specialist officers who are hoping to piece together the events that took place.
Police have cordoned off the underpass and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with dashcam footage who may have seen a distress teenage girl or a vehicle leaving the area around 1.20am is asked to contact them.
A spokesperson for the force said: “ A member of the public contacted us at 1.24am today after they found the girl in distress.
“The female was found in the High Street in Little Sandhurst Villiage.
“Officers are liaising with the girl to understand the nature of the incident and an area has been sealed off in Woosehill.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas last night or in the early hours of the morning please contact police as soon as possible.
