A joint investigation has been launched after flurry fighters spent the evening tackling a blaze that had been set at
Royal Victoria Hospital in Folkestone.
Crews were alerted to smoke issuing from the building just after 8pm on Tuesday evening. Eight fire appliances rushed to the scene to carry out a search after reports from neighbours claimed yobs were seen moments earlier starting fires.
A number of appliances remain are at the scene tackling a blaze in Radnor Park Road, Folkestone. Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s Emergency Control Centre was alerted to the fire at 8.38pm and crews were quickly on the scene. A command support unit and height vehicle are also in attendance. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a main jet and hose reels to fight the fire and are carrying out a search of the property. There are no reports of any casualties
